Brittany Sundell

Founder & Principal Development Consultant

Brittany Sundell founded Pawsitive Impact Consulting to help small nonprofits access professional fundraising and development expertise without the cost of a full-time development team.

With more than 12 years of experience in nonprofit development, communications, grant writing, public relations, and strategic planning, Brittany has helped mission-driven organizations grow sustainable funding and strengthen community support. She also brings 15 years of hands-on animal rescue experience, including five years in animal shelter management, giving her a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing animal welfare organizations.

Her experience spans animal welfare, wildlife conservation, and education, and she is passionate about helping nonprofits with limited capacity turn big dreams into lasting impact.

Originally from New Hampshire and proudly Idaho-based since 2014, Brittany is an animal lover and bird nerd. 

Valerie Elizondo

Communications and Marketing Specialist

Valerie Elizondo brings eight years of experience in marketing, communications, and social media management, helping organizations build meaningful connections with their audiences. Her background includes content strategy, social media management, email marketing, graphic design, copywriting, and digital storytelling, with a passion for creating authentic content that inspires engagement and supports organizational growth.

Valerie enjoys collaborating with people and helping mission-driven organizations share their stories in ways that strengthen relationships and expand their impact. She believes great marketing is rooted in connection, creativity, and understanding the people behind every mission.

An Idaho native, Valerie is a lifelong animal lover and especially enjoys spending time with her two dogs. When she's not creating content or developing marketing strategies, you'll likely find her outdoors with her pups and her husband, or connecting with others who are passionate about making a difference.

Deb Banner

Social Media Specialist

Deb Banner is a proud Idaho native with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Idaho and a master's degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix.

With a career rooted in education, training, and professional development, Deb brings extensive experience in coaching, communication, relationship building, and creating engaging learning experiences. She also has over ten years of experience owning and marketing her own small business, where she developed a passion for social media marketing, content creation, and building authentic online communities.

At Pawsitive Impact Consulting, Deb combines her love of storytelling with her passion for helping nonprofits connect with their communities. She enjoys creating engaging content that inspires action, builds relationships, and helps organizations share the impact of their missions.

Outside of work, Deb and her husband have been together for 18 years and are proud parents of a blended family of four children.
